Past Events Significant to Astera and may/will be mentioned in the rp:
- From the time she was about fifteen until almost thirty years ago, Astera was a part of the largest established clan in the world. Though a tyrant who demanded respect and if not received would resort to violence, torture, and punishment to set examples and force the clan members into submission, Jerome helped keep the Lycanthrope species out of the eye of human society. She worked as one of Hunters, a part of his inner circle and one of his best Hunters, and because of her purity of blood (Dire wolf) she was selected to eventually become a breeding female and mate to Jerome's eldest son, Nicolas. As Jerome's intentions became more clear and the attempts to force Astera into submission - by means of rape, humiliation, torture- Astera secretly fought back by gathering together the lower members of Jerome's clan and the outside packs that were underneath his rule. One night, all of the inner circle of Jerome's as well as his Betas were executed within an hour of each other and Jerome was tortured then eaten by the starved, remaining members of his Betas and clan. Then Astera left.
- For the thirty years between being asked to be co-Alpha of Ragnar's pack and the death of her clan leader, Astera was an assassin for hire for other packs and even Vampires and humans, killing for money and clearing out territories. She traveled all over the world, refusing to get close to anyone, but visiting friends of other packs and (reluctantly) helping many rebuild their lives after Jerome.
- Returning to the United Kingdom, Astera ventured into a bar one night after finishing a job and sat down to celebrate her successful kill. A Lycanthrope by the name of Ragnar wandered in. With the intentions of bedding her due to her not having been mated with another Lycanthrope male for quite some time and due to his desire to bed an attractive, single female, Ragnar invited her to his pack.
- Arriving at the castle where the pack lived, Astera was introduced to the pack who were partying outside. She instantly received hostility from the twin females of the pack, one or both of them bedding Ragnar, and in jealousy they seduced Ragnar away from Astera. Astera spent some time with the other three members: Ted, Edwin, and a dominant brute of a male named Gerald. Gerald attempted to impress Astera, claiming it was his right to sleep with such a premium female, but in the end Astera chose Edwin.
- Gerald, jealous of the attention and the night Astera spent with Edwin, challenged Edwin, an omega of the pack, not only to put Edwin in his place but to sleep with Astera. Riobhan protested and asked why Gerald would want such an old, loose thing such as Astera. Gerald hit her. And Astera quickly put Gerald in his place. Growing out of control, Edwin surprisingly changed and killed Gerald, asserting himself and protecting the others of the pack. Riobhan imprinted on Edwin at that moment.
- Due to the quick changes Astera was bringing in the pack, Ragnar asked Astera to be co-Alpha of his pack. Seeing Edwin was Beta material and having another job to do, Astera asked Edwin to go to Chile with her. There was a pack that had territory down there and a Vampire that was causing trouble amongst villagers. While in Chile, Astera and Edwin met up with the remaining members of her friend's pack and she and Edwin asked them to join their pack in Scotland.
- While in Chile, Edwin imprinted on Astera after a night of drinking and dancing.
- Returning with the new pack members to Scotland, Astera was horrified to discover Nicolas, the son of Jerome, had tried to bring doubt into the pack concerning her loyalties. In a fit of rage and paranoia, Astera blurted out her entire abusive past with Nicolas's father. Ragnar and Edwin manage to calm her down and the pack bonds outside.
- A few weeks later, Siobhan convinces Ted to poison Astera after Astera challenged Siobhan for the Alpha position. Siobhan's open hostility and the cruelty she had been showing to Edwin and her own sister had set Astera off. Astera almost dies due to the poisoning and Siobhan is exiled while Ted is punished but given a second chance.

Future Events Planned:
- Astera will eventually imprint on Edwin. As of right now, she is casually mated to Edwin.
- Within nine or so months of the rp, Astera will go into her heat cycle and become pregnant.
- Astera is a jealous female and can be hostile, so anyone trying to "get with Edwin" she would show immediate dislike. Anyone trying to get with any of the pack members she will be suspicious of.
- There is a plan of a confrontation with Nicolas's pack.
